Warcasters! You are crushing it!
We’ve just crossed $175k in funding, unlocking our next stretch goal: a Warcaster Rune font.
This digital font will let you encode your arcane messages using the Neo-Mechanika runes of the Thousand Worlds.
The font will be digitally distributed to backers of every level through our pledge manager by July.
We’ve also updated the campaign page with another Add-On stretch goal: variant poses and designs for each of the light warjacks. With these new designs, we’ll add some unique details and give the warjacks different poses to add variety to your battle force. You can add a variant warjack on for $30, or if you’re backing for a Skirmish or Full Battle Force, you’ll be able to select in the pledge manager an option to sub out a variant for one of the warjacks included in that pledge. (Note that selecting the option for the variant means it will deliver in a subsequent shipping wave.)
And finally, we’ve posted the Work-in-Progress rulebook over at Warcaster.com (scroll to the bottom of the Game Play page). The book contains the full rules for the game so you can dive in and get to know it now. Over the next four weeks, the rule book will get finished out, loaded with artwork and polished to the quality level of all Privateer Press products. And we expect once our newly-forged Warcaster backers make contact with it, you’ll have some great feedback for us that will help us make it even better.

Greetings Warcasters!
I can’t write these stretch goal updates fast enough! We have just crossed $150k, unlocking our Foil Stat Card stretch goal!
For all the backers of Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika backing at a level that includes a Command Group Starter set, all of your stat cards for the models you pledge for during this campaign will come with metallic foiled versions of those cards so that you can show off the fact that you were one of the amazing backers that brought this game to life!
We have also posted a new stretch goal at $325k for Voitek Sudal, Bounty Hunter! Sudal is a Wild Card hero, which means he can be included in more than one faction. See his description below!
Voitek Sudal, Bounty Hunter — Wild Card Hero
A highly decorated veteran of the Iron Star Alliance's Paladin forces who left the service under a cloud of secrecy, Voitek Sudal has dedicated his life to tracking down the most dangerous criminals in the Hyperuranion. With a reputation for ruthless professionalism, Sudal operates throughout both Alliance and Marcher Worlds territories. He is a man of few words who prefers to let his arsenal speak for him. In addition to his hard earned survival skills, Sudal relies on a shoulder mounted Force Constrictor to bring down his prey. Null Detonators and a Gate Jammer assist in isolating targets long enough to get them tagged, bagged, and off world.

If we unlock this stretch goal, Voitek Sudal, Bounty Hunter will be available to Add-On for $15 to any pledge for a reward that includes a Command Group Starter set.

Greetings Warcasters!!!
We have just crossed our $125k threshold, unlocking one of the goals that is nearest and dearest to our hearts at Privateer. Achieving this goal means that we’ll be including collector’s cards featuring lore for all of the units in the Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika. But more importantly, this is our first step in what will be an ongoing effort to reduce one-use plastic packaging from our product lines.
We’ve designed a great little Mini-Box that will replace our standard plastic clamshell blister as well as the foam insert inside. The box will be printed on recyclable, bio-degradable cardboard and has a cutout window in the front where you’ll see the image side of the lore card, identifying the miniature contents inside.
We’re thrilled to be able make Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika the first place that we can put this idea into motion and we hope to extend it to our other product lines in the future. Unlike the Hyeruranion, we only have one world, and we want to do what we can to keep it healthy.
