DIGITAL CONCEPT ART BOOK UNLOCKED! PLUS, WILD CARD UPDATE!

Greetings Warcasters!
We have just passed $375k in funding, unlocking the Digital Concept Art Book stretch goal. With this goal, we’ll compile a volume of all of the amazing concept illustrations that were created for the sculpts of Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika. We’ve set this to deliver in August so that we’ll be able to pack it with even more exciting work that you haven’t even seen yet!
We also have updated our $425k stretch goal: Captain Jax Redblade is now joined by Wild Card, Baron Cassius Mooregrave! Mooregrave was lurking up the stretch goal ladder a little ways, but we want to make sure he gets unlocked during this campaign to ensure a balanced offering of the Wild Cards across all three factions and to make sure any reward levels that include Wild Card selections have all of the options to choose from. So now the Wild Card Hero, Baron Cassius Mooregrave Add-On will ALSO unlock when we reach $425k. (Graphics updating on the campaign page soon!)
So let’s meet these two unsavory characters…
Baron Cassius Mooregrave Character Concept
Baron Cassius Mooregrave — Wild Card Hero
The much feared scion of a powerful elector family with connections throughout the Supreme Concordiat, Baron Mooregrave’s unnatural lifespan has cast a long shadow over the courts of the Iron Star Alliance for centuries. Believed to be cursed or mad or both, his obsession with the arcane is well known, but the secrets of his longevity less so. While the intelligence services of the Alliance have long suspected him of treasonous collaboration with the outlawed Aeternus Continuum, the truth is even stranger. Long ago Mooregrave claimed the artifact weapon Oblivion from a forgotten alien world. A blade of incalculable darkness, Oblivion consumes the souls of those felled by it, empowering the noble revenant and extending his life well beyond mortal means.
Baron Cassius Mooregrave will work for both Alliance and Continuum forces.
The Living Terror that surrounds Baron Mooregrave gives him +2 DEF against warrior models, whether or not they draw breath.
When Mooregrave destroys an enemy that was charged, you can immediately choose to charge Mooregrave as he steals the arcane spark from his victim. Additionally, each time Mooregrave destroys a warrior model you can remove damage from him.
Once per turn Morgrave can spike to advance 3” and make an additional melee attack.
Captain Jax Redblade Character Concept
Captain Jax Redblade – Wild Card Hero
With a reputation spanning the Thousand Worlds, Jax Redblade is among the most notorious pirates to prey upon the shipping lanes of the Hyperuranion. Bloodthirsty, cunning, and utterly lacking in moral constraint, Redblade is a fearsome captain, but is an even deadlier foe. The unparalleled speed of her draw and callous disregard for any life outside those of her crew have brought her to the attention of both the Iron Star Alliance and the Marcher Worlds. The Alliance would love nothing better to see her dead or locked away for a millennium, while her relationship with the Coalition of Free States is a little more complex. While Captain Redblade is generally willing to take any prize she sets her sights on, she is also known to frequent shadier ports throughout the Marcher Worlds and beyond. Where possible she will strike at the Alliance, no matter what the cost, even if it means temporarily allying herself with their most hated enemies.
Captain Jax Redblade will work for both Continuum and Marcher Worlds forces.
While charged, Redblade’s Flight Boots gives her +3 SPD and Flight.
A deadly combatant, Redblade can make an attack targeting any model who misses her with a melee attack. Coupled with DEF 5 and a Refractor Field that says she can spike to reroll defense rolls, most opponents may think twice before trying to land a blow.
Redblade is armed with a Fusion Sword and Magnum hand cannon.

Our next stretch goal is less than $25k away and will deliver five new warjack weapons for the light warjacks. After that, we unlock the Wild Cards — it’s going to be an exciting final three days for the Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika campaign!
And watch for another update later — we just received the first renders of a couple of the heavy warjacks and I can’t wait to show them to you!

The only thing better than Taco Tuesday is Warjack Wednesday! But I can't wait that long to show off some of the great work-in-porgress renders that showed up in my inbox today. And besides, it's Wednesday somewhere, right?

THE [CORRECTED] NEW DEFINITIVE STRETCH GOAL LIST

Greetings Warcasters,
My apologies! As I have said before, Kickstarters are a complicated business. I tripped over my own notes and made a mistake: the Full Battle Force reward level is supposed to automatically receive all three of the Wild Card Heroes unlocked during this campaign. No choices to make, not two of three – all three, just like I wrote in Update #13. So when Captain Jax Redblade and Baron Cassius Morregrave unlock at $425k, they will both be added into the Fulll Battle Force rewards along with Voitek Sudal.
My apologies for creating any confusion! The list below has been corrected.

Greetings Warcasters,
The recent update, adding Wild Card Hero Baron Cassius Mooregrave Add-On Stretch Goal to our $425k level allows us to make sure the Full Battle Force and Master of Space and Time pledge levels get their best possible value out of this campaign while maintaining a balance of Wild Card offerings across the factions.
While the Master of Space and Time level will now receive two of each Wild Card hero, once unlocked, the Full Battle Force level will be updated so that backers of that reward may pick any two of the Wild Card heroes, and thereby receive the two that work with their faction and not get stuck with a hero that is not useful to them.
The list has been updated below to reflect this update.

SKIRMISH BATTLE FORCE UPDATE

Greetings Warcasters,
With the unlocking of the variant light warjacks in our last stretch goal, I've seen a number of questions about being able to select the variant warjack in a Skirmish Battle Force.
The Marcher Worlds and Iron Star Alliance Skirmish Battle Forces are scheduled to deliver in Wave 1. But the variant warjacks are shipping in Wave 2. So if you want to receive the complete, ready-to-play Skirmish Battle Force in Wave 1, then we cannot swap the duplicate light warjack for the variant warjack. However, we will create an option in the pledge manager for you to receive an incomplete Skirmish Battle Force in Wave 1 with the variant warjack following in Wave 2, or you could receive the complete Skirmish Battle Force with the variant swapped in, all at once in Wave 2. We just aren't able to ship the variants in Wave 1.
Please note, however, that for international orders, splitting shipments will incur additional shipping charges.
Also note that once the new weapon pack Faction stretch goal unlocks, this will be the weapon assortment included with the variant warjacks.
As the Aeternous Continuum Skirmish Battle Force ships in Wave 2 along with the variant Scourge, this will not be a problem to swap the duplicate Scourge warjack out for the duplicate in the Skirmish Battle Force.
I hope this clears up any confusion that we may have caused with the last update.
